In the "Customers Management" section, when you add or edit a "Customer", you can add a new "Branch".
To add a Branch, you must assign it a name and an address.
To add the address, you need to choose a country and a state from the drop-down list and finally write the address detail in the "address" section.
The section "Description of the branch" is optional.
You can add as many branches as you want to a customer.
How to edit a Branch?
By clicking on the options button, you can:
Change Branch's Owner
Delete the Branch
Here you can view and/or edit the following branch details:
Wells in the branch
Map with location of the wells on this branch
Branch Previous Names
In our system we understand that customers change their name or sell their facilities.
For this reason we have included a "Branch’s Previous Names" section, so that you can find customer's branches by their current name or by their previous names.
Once a Branch is created, you can edit it and add old customer names and/or set a new branch name
In our system we understand that customers change.
In Merge Branch, you can merge two branches into one.
This is very useful when one customer acquires / merges another branch and merges into one name.
When a client owns a branch and for some reason divides it to sell a part of this branch.
Now the new owner of that branch becomes a new customer for the driller.
But actually the wells in that portion of the branch have their own history of services performed, which are inherited by the new owner.
In these cases, the Split Branch tool is very useful to not lose any detail of the well on which the driller has already performed services in the past.
Here you can divide the branch by assigning it to a new customer or perhaps an existing customer in your database.
Why can't I delete a Branch?
The structure of a client is based on the following scheme:
You cannot delete a branch that has wells associated with it,
To remove the Branch, you must first remove the Wells from that Branch.
